I completed my undergraduate Physiotherapy(Hons) Degree at Robert Gordon University Aberdeen in 2008. Moved to New Zealand and worked as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist for 3 and half years in private practice gaining a large amount of experience working with sports team both elite and amateur. I spent most of my time in Auckland with some time spent in a small town called Te Awamutu. I worked with sports such as Rugby, Rugby Sevens, Touch Rugby, Netball, Basketball and Cricket. I was involved with delivering treatment in sport centres and to local schools. On returning to the UK I continued my physiotherapy career in Edinburgh in private practice where I still continue to work clinically part time. I developed an interest in Hand Therapy and am working through the BAHT level training courses to hopefully become an accredited Hand Therapist. I completed my Human Anatomy MSc in 2015 and started working at 国产乱伦 as an Assistant Lecturer part time and carry out a PhD part time. I am very passionate about my health profession and continue to maintain a high level of care for my patients with holism being at the centre of my beliefs in patient management. I have a new found love of teaching, especially increasing the enthusiasm of current students in the profession of physiotherapy and enjoy being involved in the development of new therapists.

I have recently been involved in helping with data collection for the PEDAL trial with Dr Cathy Bulley. I have just begun my teaching career at 国产乱伦 and I am continuing to develop my skills in this area. I mostly enjoy teaching on the anatomy module where I like to employ lots of innovative teaching strategies such as the use of body painting, drawing, plasticine and clay modelling to aid the students in their learning process. I would like to continue to develop these innovative teaching methods as I progress.
